ABOUT PETE:

Pete Walsh has supported Adam Ant on his comeback tour (The Good, The Mad and The Ugly Tour), which took Pete all over the UK, playing at many music venues and theatres such as The London Scala and the Birmingham O2. Pete has also been on the road with the likes of Edwin Starr and was also a guitarist with Birmingham favourites, The Broom Busters. An accomplished professional with a distinct playing style, built and road-tested over many years, Pete contributes to the original sound of Chick Wren's Rollin' River Band. Pete is the co-arranger and producer of the album 'Hoodoo River'.

ABOUT SIMON:

Simon is another very talented veteran of the West Midlands music scene. He plays both electric and double bass and contributes to the overall sound with his excellent backing vocals.

Simon has played with many West Midlands-based bands, including Slowburner, The Bo Dudleys and The Dave Wagstaff Blues Band.

ABOUT JONATHAN:

Jonathan is the talented multi-instrumentalist in the band, playing not only keyboards but also soprano sax and guitar! He is definitely a handy guy to have around the studio. He started playing piano at the age of seven and achieved a grade 8 Jazz and an ALCM Diploma in Jazz saxophone.

Jonathan has played lead/rhythm guitar with the 10-piece soul band Soul Satisfaction and keyboards and sax with a variety of bands, including Major Groove and Loose Covers.

ABOUT MIKE:

Mike is the band's anchor man. He is a talented and versatile drummer with many years of experience playing with various bands at many venues, from pubs and clubs to outdoor festivals across the West Midlands.

Pete recently did sterling work with the famous Gorillaz. London Zoo will give him a bigger shovel when he eventually works with Elephants.

He was also a leading figure in The Stranglers. You can imagine how things were livened up in that turkey abattoir….

Chick has worked with some big names in the past. If we were to mention “Van” and “Morrison”, you’d immediately guess... that he’s a supermarket delivery driver.

Chick has often played live with Blur, but things have been much better since his cataract operation.

Simon was once spotted playing with The Stones in Hyde Park. The Authorities said that if they caught him throwing them at the ducks again, they’d call the police.

Jonathan has perfect pitch... so if you need your garage roof re-felting, Jonathan is your man.

During Jonathan's early years, he quickly became a rock legend.....but he quit the game when his Blackpool stall collapsed, scattering his collection of "kiss me quick" hats…

Some say.... that he is a vastly experienced and versatile bass player. Others claim that he plays bass in the same manner he would make love to a beautiful woman... far too fast with a disappointing and sweaty finish.

Some say that Mike is an accomplished and solid drummer. Others claim he plays drums like he would make love to a beautiful woman, starting with just the slightest hint of rhythm but ultimately failing to keep it up.

Mike's early years were spent working with Johnny Cash - well, somebody had to empty those condom machines...

Mike's career gained some notoriety in the eighties when he worked with The Carpenters at The NEC. The doors still don't shut properly.

Later, he was to earn rave reviews for his work with The White Stripes - now regarded as the straightest on the Cannock stretch of the A5...
